PEEK rod has a series of excellent comprehensive properties such as high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high strength. It is widely used in aerospace, automobile manufacturing, electronic and electrical, medical treatment and food processing and other fields.
PEEK rod has four characteristics:
1. Small shrinkage of injection molding of PEEK plastic raw materials, which is very beneficial to control the dimensional tolerance range of PEEK injection molded parts, making the dimensional accuracy of PEEK parts much higher than that of general plastics;
2. The coefficient of thermal expansion is small, with the change of temperature (can be caused by the change of ambient temperature or friction heat generation in the process of operation), the size of the parts is very small change;
3. Good dimensional stability. The dimensional stability of plastic refers to the dimensional stability of engineering plastic products in the use or storage process, because the activation energy of polymer molecules is improved, so that the chain segment has some degree of crimping.
4. PEEK heat hydrolysis characteristics are outstanding, the environment water absorption is very low in high temperature and high humidity, and there will not be similar to nylon and other general plastics due to water absorption and the size of the obvious change;
