I. Introduction to performance:
Polyamide-imide PAI-Torlon has excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability at high temperatures. The main features are as follows:
1. The allowable working temperature in the air is very high (continuous work at 250℃).
2. The best dimensional stability in the temperature range of 250℃.
3. Excellent wear resistance and friction performance.
4. Outstanding anti-ultraviolet performance.
5. Superior anti-high-energy radiation performance (γ rays and Χ rays).
6. Inherent low flammability.
II. Application fields:
1. Rotary compressor impeller
Due to the excellent performance of the Torlon 4301 PAI over long periods of time, it is an ideal material for the manufacture of sliding impellers for rotary compressors. In addition, the material stiffness is high, the dimensional stability is good, and it can also be ensured that the impeller from the slot rotor freely in and out without bonding even in the case of temperature rise.
2. Can mold
Moulds made by Torlon 4301 PAI are used to support aluminum cans when they are printed. This can mould has superior dimensional stability and high wear resistance, long service life and improved productivity.
3. Welding support of cup body
These Torlon 4301 PAI bearings are used for food packing machines to complete the aluminum foil sealing of plastic yogurt cups. The support is required to have high wear resistance and temperatures up to 200°C.
4. Chipset and socket
Torlon 5530 PAI chipset and socket are used for chips. Because of the dimensional stability of the Torlon 5530 PAI components over a wide temperature range, test reliability is improved and service life is extended.
